Be Bold Be Birmingham
On August 17th and 18th, we organised a two-day family event that was funded by Birmingham City Council's #BeBoldBeBirmingham initiative. The event aimed to provide a fun and engaging experience for families during the six-week school holiday period.
We offered a diverse range of activities to cater to different interests and age groups. Arts and crafts sessions allowed families to get creative and make various crafts together. Communal cooking sessions provided an opportunity for families to bond while preparing and enjoying meals together.
Competitions and games were organised to encourage friendly competition and teamwork among families. These activities not only provided entertainment but also helped in developing important social skills.
In addition to these activities, we also focused on promoting health and well-being. Yoga sessions were conducted to promote relaxation and flexibility. Cycling sessions offered an opportunity for families to stay active and explore the outdoors.
Overall, the event was a great success and was enjoyed by all who attended. It provided a much-needed break from the routine for families and allowed them to spend quality time together. We are grateful to Birmingham City Council for their support and look forward to organising more events like this in the future.
